About Aneek d'Uwu
Aneek d’Uwu is an Austrian artist with a background in performing and applied arts as well as philosophy, living and working between the Alpine regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France) and Tyrol (Austria). She is tri-lingual (German, English & French) and works across multiple roles including performer, vocalist, composer, writer, experimenter, video maker, and workshop facilitator, sharing her knowledge and experience with diverse audiences.
Her practice is hands-on, experimental, and interdisciplinary, operating at the intersection of performative arts, music, and philosophy/ethics. Her work explores voice, body, movement, and performance as tools for artistic experimentation and collective creation.
Aneek’s artistic path spans theatre productions in Austria and Germany as well as vocal and performative projects in France and Belgium, complemented by choral ensemble work and studio practice at venues such as the Théâtre de la Croix-Rousse in Lyon, the Münchner Kammerspiele, and in Grenoble. Her work consistently seeks to engage participants, encourage experimentation, and cultivate meaningful dialogue through workshops and collaborative artistic experiences.
