About Aneek d'Uwu
Aneek d’Uwu is an Austrian artist with a background in performing and applied arts as well as philosophy, living and working between the Alpine regions of Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes (France) and Tyrol (Austria). She casts herself in roles as varied as performer, vocalist, philosopher, composer, writer, media experimenter, and video maker.
Her work operates at the intersection of performative and artistic practice, philosophical inquiry, and ethical reflection.
Her artistic path has taken her through theatre productions in Austria and Germany, as well as vocal and performative projects in France and Belgium. This experience is complemented by choral ensemble work and studio practice at venues such as the Théâtre de la Croix-Rousse in Lyon, the Münchner Kammerspiele, and in Grenoble.
